SUMMARY OF ROLE

Responsible for the activities of the production department (PCS) in meeting scheduled product quantities, established costs, and ensuring quality standards. Manages weekly production scheduling and subsequently coordinates and monitors department activities in terms of direct and indirect hour absorption, personnel performance, plant utilization and scrap. Collaborates in defining and optimizing the production cycle, including proposing improvement changes. Finally, verifies compliance with current environmental and safety regulations. Coordinates a group of blue collars (assemblatori PCS) and ensures their development.

RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES AND TASKS

· Organize the assembly lines in order to guarantee the deliveries established in the production program, intervening with variations in order to optimize the processes on a daily basis.

· Monitoring of production KPi's.

· Manage direct line personnel, planning their schedules, shifts, rotation, training and the polycompetence matrix.

· Collaborate with quality officers to meet quality standards and improve them.

· Support department personnel through problem solving activities or operational instructions.

· Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations.

· Support the implementation of continuous improvement projects (Kaizen/6S).

Skills Requirement

· Leadership and authority.

· At least 2-3 years’ experience in personnel management in structured companies.

· Experience in the production of standard or similar electrical cabinets (quadri elrttrici) is appreciated.

· Good technical-organizational skills (management of mass production processes, optimization, preferable knowledge of lean production techniques).

· Ability to effectively convey management directions.

· Listening skills.

· Constant presence and support.

· Ability to give answers and make decisions.

· Planning and organization.

· Resistance to stress.

· Technical training in electro-mechanics is required (diploma of industrial technician or technical specialization).

· Preference is given to coming from structured companies, manufacturers of electro-mechanical products with high technological content.

· Knowledge of the main Office tools.

· SAP user.
